  1. DEFEND A V-2 MISSILE SITE
  2.  
  3. During the first week of May, 1944, the
  4. Allies concentrated on the pre-invasion 
  5. disruption of railway centers in occupied 
  6. Europe.  The Eighth Air Force was diverted 
  7. from attacking rail targets in France and 
  8. Belgium due to bad weather.  Instead, they 
  9. bombed Pas de Calais NOBALL targets.

  11.                     YOUR MISSION

  13. Your flight of four Bf 109s and two 
  14. FW 190s is on patrol over northern France. 
  15. The ground controller has vectored units
  16. in your area to intercept an Allied attack 
  17. on V-weapon sites in Pas de Calais.  
  18. You've picked up a formation of B-17s 
  19. headed south toward the V-2 missile base 
  20. at Lille.  Their escorts appear to be 
  21. delayed, so your squadron has an oppor-
  22. tunity to make a clean attack for a few 
  23. minutes.  Stop the bombers before they 
  24. reach their target.  Each plane in your 
  25. flight is armed with air-to-air rockets.
